A healing character, right when Yui needs one.
Here I thought we have another comrade…

From the comments I see there may have been some confusion. I made a character list if you don’t remember who’s who. Kamo Tomotaka is the capturable character, a student and the one contracted to Chako. Kamo Tomoyuki is the school’s director. Yui was shocked when he introduced himself because he shares the same surname as Tomotaka (one of the people she wants to avoid) and Kamo is a family of onmyouji. Chako mentioned him once in chapter 6.2 about giving bursaries. If you read closely you’ll see there’s foreshadows and hints for different things in this series.

Someone once asked me in what order will the main story and anecdotes be translated and I said I’d do the anecdotes after the main story because I was afraid of breaking the main story’s atmosphere.
Although the sentiment is still unchanged, I realised, especially for some of the latter arcs, the importance of understanding the other characters and their POVs. So I’m just gonna translate them together and leave the choice of whether to read the anecdotes [concurrently with the main story] OR [after the main story has been completely translated] to the readers. Really want to just glomp the poor girl ;-; And someone’s comment hit the jackpot… Yui’s thinking the same thing. Corresponding alternate POV (Chako, anecdote c3).
